Whilst we’re back in lockdown, our regulars have found themselves spending more time at home which is why we’ve put together our top 5 things to do if you’re struggling to stay motivated.
Take an online tour
Whilst we’re all at home, we’re missing out on seeing and experiencing new places. Fortunately with technology constantly developing we’re still able to explore cities far and wide. Watch a music show and even take a trip to a zoo, all from our computers.
Try a fitness challenge –
Get your friends involved using apps like strava. With new year’s resolutions still fresh on our mind, you might be taking on new fitness challenges, or perhaps you’ve started trends like couch to 5k. Whatever your fitness goal, you can track your workout or run with apps like Strava and share with your friends. This extra accountability and competition makes fitness more fun.
Cook something new
Dig out those dusty old cookbooks and find some new recipes to try. Cooking often becomes a chore, often choosing old faithful recipes which you know like the back of your hand. It’s so easy to order a takeaway or pop in a microwave meal ready in minutes that means we forget to try new recipes. We’re sure you’ve got some old cookbooks collecting dust so why not prepare a meal plan for next week with fresh new meals.
Learn a language
Missing your vacations, bring some culture back into your life and learn a new language. You don’t have to be fluent by the end of lockdown but spending this extra time learning the basics will mean when we finally get to go abroad again you’ll be able to converse with the locals that much easier.
Already fluent in another language, why not try sign language a unique language in itself and more important than ever with ma
Write a letter
We’re surely all bored of zoom quizzes and textings, whilst many spend hours on the phone why not slow the pace and write to your friends and family. Remember the excitement of receiving a letter in the post, make your loved ones day with a note to remind them they’re not alone.
Whilst we’re still here for all your essential journeys, we are following government guidelines and between all jobs we use antiviral wipes and antibacterial spray in all vehicles. Whilst travelling with us we will ask all of our passengers and drivers to wear a face covering.
