Spring is just around the corner with evenings finally drawing out and hopefully some warmer weather ahead of us, we’re just as excited about the easing of restrictions as you are.
In the meantime we’ll be patiently waiting for what’s around the corner and always here for you, whether that’s making an essential trip or pre booking an airport transfer for later on this year.
Norfolk is full of beautiful places to visit and we know our customers can’t wait to start exploring again. The countryside on our very own doorstep is varied which is why we’ve put together some of the best places to discover when restrictions allow.
Norwich
Whether it’s enjoying some food on the market, a visit to the castle museum or wonder down historic Elm Hill, there’s plenty to enjoy in our very fine city. Book a taxi into Norwich for a day’s shopping in Chantry Place, followed by a meal in one of the many independent restaurants. It’ll be a novelty not to have to do the dishes after a meal.
Stalham
If you’re thinking of spending the day on the Broads then Stalham is the place to start the day. Home to Richardsons boats, hire a day boat and explore the waterways at your own pace, pack a picnic or hop off at one of the fantastic riverside pubs along the way. If you’re looking for a day of history take a look around the Museum of the Broads tracing back the history of staithes.
Hickling
If you’re excited to get outside and enjoy nature then look no further than Hickling. Home to Hickling Broad and marshes you’ll be able to fully immerse yourself in exploring nature at it’s finest. You might even spot a rare Bittern; if you’re lucky!
Sea Palling and Waxham
Just 5 miles from Hickling and a favorite spot of ours, Sea Palling and Waxham are fantastic sandy spots and usually much less crowded than famous Norfolk beaches like Wells or Cromer.
Wroxham
The heart of the Broads, you’ll find the Bure Valley railway station where you can travel from Wroxham to Aylsham the 18 mile round trip runs through the wonderful Bure Valley countryside, along the way you can enjoy stops at Brampton, Buxton and Coltishall. Whilst you’re in Wroxham enjoy the abundance of shops and restaurants. We’re always available to pick you up if you decide to enjoy a drink at one of the local pubs.
